Hand Painted "Warm Southern Cherry" Finish The finish is a multi-step antique finish with simulated wear and distressing. The edges of the open areas are "border-shaded" to enhance the antique look. The decoration is hand painted by local Chinese artisans in a style reminiscent of the 17th century French style. The top is finished using a "crackle" detail to create the look of decoration leather. The finish on the hardware is an antique brass "tassel" style pull. The bar features a center cabinet with a swivel shelf that has two tiers. Each level is designed to hold either bottles or barware. The side sections have curved doors with piano hinges. Each door has bin storage to hold either additional bottles, barware or accessories. The unit is constructed of MDF and hardwoods. The MDF is used in all painted areas because of its attributes as an engineered wood product. It does not expand or contract thus eliminating the potential for de-lamination of the painted surfaces. The MDF used is a furniture grade which allows it to be shaped to the soft curves the demi-lune (French for half round) style requires. Fully Assembled. 45 1/4" x 19" x 32" tall. |
